What's Happening in Burnaby Royal Area?

Burnaby Heights Guides had a wonderful weekend at Camp Olave and went horseback riding!

horseback riding District camp Burnaby Mountain District had a wonderful District camp in May in the rain. A great time for everyone but what are they doing????? Burnaby Mountain Pathfinders and Rangers rode the Galloping Goose trail this May.

Last summer six patrols of two adults and eight girls each travelled to Parksville for Soar 2007 along with 2500 other girls and women! This amazing event saw them camping for a week, participating in an exciting program and making new friends from all over the world.

This summer the Amazing Arts Camp was held at Camp Olave! One of our leaders is in Africa with a Guiding group, other groups are camping at beautiful Camp Olave, our Girl Guide camp on the Sunshine Coast, still others spent snowy time on Hollyburn Mountain in our Hollyburn Chalet. Groups contribute to the community with service projects, learn about other countries, go swimming, visit the Space Centre and Science World, hike, snow shoe, sing, canoe, kayak, dance and cook.

What are you waiting for?
